The
Science Foundation Program has been specially designed to
meet the needs of international students. This 10 month
bilingual course (English and Chinese) commences in February
and concluding in October, and consists of English language
training (28 weeks) and five compulsory core modules: Physics;
Chemistry; Biology, Mathematics (Calculus based) and Economics.

ATTENDANCE
Lectures
will he given on a daily basis. Monday to Friday
Each lecture will be presented over 2 hour duration
At the end of each three week term, there will be a two week
study recess followed by the final exam for that module.
Note: all assessments will he conducted in English and Chinese.

General
Assessment
Examinations for international
students in the Science Foundation Program are held at the
end of each consecutive module immediately after the two week
study recess:
Achieve a score of at least 50%
in English Language and
Achieve a Combined Percentage
Score (CPS) based on the three best module scores in your
academic subjects.
The final scores for all subjects are based on 50% continuous
assessment and 50% on the external final examination.
Examination results are posted
on the intranet within one month of completing the Science
Foundation Program.
