  ACADEMIC BUSINESS PROJECTS

INSCI P/L (formerly APB) is represented by a group of highly qualified science practitioners who also have qualifications and experience in the developing and delivery of education and training. Moreover, we are knowledgeable in all aspects of academic quality assurance and compliance with regulatory organisations in Australia, UK, Singapore and China.

We are currently embarking on another international education and training project.

In the early 2000 to 2006, we launched two landmark educational institutions focused on the life sciences industry in Singapore. We removed the barriers to high quality international education in several life sciences disciplines including biotechnology, medicinal chemistry, pharmacy, pathology, management (pharmaceuticals), and marketing (pharmaceuticals).

Working with our university partners in Australia, China, UK and Singapore, we were able to reduce operation costs, and lower tuition rates by as much as 50%. In addition, we delivered the courses in a traditional classroom format with small group tutorial sessions to improve student performance. The result was high student retention and enthusiastic learning experiences. In many cases our students attained higher academic perfomances as compare to those on campus.

While achieving the desired student academic performances, we also met stakeholder expectations, Our revenues (SGD20 million per annum) surpassed all projections inspite of the SARS 2002 pandemic. During the same period UNSW SIngapore returned SGD40 million in losses.

As industry practitioners, we are in the best position to be innovative with industry relevant learning outcomes (skills based)..The Centre for Biomedical Scences and Mangament continued to be an icon for life science education and a major revenue generator for its stakeholders over a decade.

Toward the end of 2004, Dr Tholen also established the School of Life Sciences at the Singapore Productivity and Standards and Inovation Board in collaboration with the University of Western Australia.

In 2008, the following advetisiement was posted by UK Trade and Investment See East Midlands - China Business Bureau

This project involved the development and delivery of several laboratory based degree programmes in nursing, biotechnology, pharmacy, psychology and pharmaceutical management (pathology, quality systems, operations and regulatory compliance).

Lehman Brown International reported the financial audit for the period 2009 to 2012. Revenues exceeded RMB144 million

Today (Post COVID)

Asia Pacific Biotech P/L has re-modeled as INSCI P/L (Australia). Our portfolios in science and commercial enterprise support our intention to development and implement postgraduate degree programmes in biotechnology (environmental), sustainable industry management, and clean energy processes.

We are currently spearheading a campaign to provide industry internships for our students in Australia and overseas.

We will continue to foster international academic collaborations in regard to Science Foundation Studies and undergraduate programmes such as biotechnology, naturopathy, and international entrepreneurship.

We welcome collaborative projects with industries and universities globally.
